Terms of service

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using Shotina you agree to these terms. If you are using it for a company, you confirm you are allowed to accept them on that company's behalf.

2. Your account

Keep your login details to yourself and tell us promptly if you think someone else has access. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

3. Credits, payment and refunds

• One credit produces one generated image. Credits are bought in packs and do not expire.
• Prices are in US dollars and payment is taken by Stripe.
• A generation that fails because of a fault on our side does not consume a credit. If one does, tell us and we will put it back.
• Unused credits can be refunded within 14 days of purchase. Credits already spent on generated images are not refundable, which is why every new account starts with free credits to test with.

4. What you may upload

You may upload photos of products you own or are authorised to sell. You may not upload:

• Images you do not have the rights to, including photos taken from another seller's listing.
• Photos of identifiable people without their permission.
• Counterfeit goods, or anything illegal to sell where you are.
• Content designed to mislead a buyer about what they are receiving.

You keep ownership of everything you upload, and you give us only the permission needed to run the service on it: to store it, process it, send it to the image provider that generates your shots, and publish it to the store you connect.

5. The generated images

Images generated from your uploads are yours. You can use them commercially, including in your store, your advertising and your printed material. We will not use them to promote Shotina without asking you first.

Generated images place your real product into a constructed setting. You are responsible for making sure how you present them meets the rules of the marketplaces you sell on and the advertising law where you sell. Do not use a generated image to claim something about the product that is not true.

6. Availability

We aim to keep Shotina running and will give notice of planned maintenance where we can. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and generation depends in part on a third-party image provider.

7. Acceptable use

Do not attempt to break, overload or reverse engineer the service, resell access to your account, or use automated means to extract data from it beyond the features we provide.

8. Suspension

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. If we close an account for a reason that is not your fault, we will refund unused credits.

9. Liability

Shotina is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profit, lost sales or indirect loss, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will tell account holders by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the change.
