What this covers

This notice explains what Shotina does with your information when you visit this site or use the Shotina app. Shotina is operated as a product of the studio described on the about page. If you would like the operating entity name and registered address in writing, ask us on the contact page and we will send it.

What we collect

• Account details. The email address and password you sign up with, and your account settings.
• Product photos you upload. The source images and the images generated from them.
• Listing content. Product titles, descriptions, prices and attributes you enter or that are drafted for you.
• Store connection details. If you connect a store, the store URL and the API key you provide.
• Billing records. What you bought and when. Card details are handled by Stripe and never reach our servers.
• Basic technical logs. IP address, browser type and error records, kept so the service can be run and debugged.

What we do with it

• Generate the photos you ask for and store them in your account.
• Publish products to the store you connected, when you press publish.
• Take payment, apply credits and send receipts.
• Answer your support messages.
• Keep the service secure and fix faults.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use your product photos to advertise to other people without asking you first.

Image generation and third parties

Generating a photo means sending your source image and the shot instruction to a third-party AI image provider, currently Google. Their processing terms apply to that step. We send only what is needed to produce the image, and we do not send your account details or your customer data.

Other processors we rely on:

• Stripe for card payments.
• Our hosting provider for servers, storage and backups.
• Your own store, when you publish to it.

Who owns the generated images

You do. The images produced from your product photo are yours to use commercially. We keep a copy in your account so you can download them again, and we may use images only where you have given us permission to, for example in a case study.

How long we keep things

• Uploads and generated images: while your account is open, so you can re-download and re-generate.
• Billing records: as long as tax and accounting rules require.
• Technical logs: a short rolling window, then deleted.

Deleting your data

You can delete individual products and their images from inside the app. To delete your whole account and everything in it, write to us from the contact page and we will do it and confirm when it is done.

Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have the right to ask for a copy of your data, to correct it, to have it deleted, or to object to some of the processing above. Ask us and we will act on it. If you are in the UK or the EU and you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to your national data protection authority.

Cookies

This marketing site does not set advertising or tracking cookies. The app sets the cookies it needs to keep you signed in and to keep the session secure. If we ever add analytics or advertising, this notice will be updated first.

Children

Shotina is a business tool and is not intended for anyone under 16.

Changes

If this notice changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes and we will tell account holders by email.
